Every junk removal company says they donate. In 2026, items from our jobs have directly furnished 30+ Central Virginia households. This isn't a marketing line โ it's the operational policy that guides every job.
Where Donations Actually Go
Local Central Virginia familiesFurniture, appliances, and household goods in good condition are routed to these families first โ often within 24โ48 hours of the cleanout job.

Community partners: We work with various Charlottesville-area community organizations on an ongoing basis for specific item types.
What Can and Can't Be Donated
Donation-eligible items from Charlottesville cleanouts: upholstered furniture without significant staining or structural damage, working appliances (we test if possible), solid wood furniture in reasonable condition, household goods and kitchenware in good condition, clothing in good condition, working electronics.
Items that go to disposal rather than donation: mattresses without cases in good condition (most donation centers won't accept these), heavily stained or mold-damaged items, furniture with structural damage that makes it unsafe, cribs manufactured before 2011.
How It Affects Your Price
Pricing is by truck volume regardless of whether items are donated or disposed. You pay $149/$249/$399/$499 for the corresponding load โ what happens after the truck is loaded is handled at our expense and as part of our community mission.
